Heart "A heart is like a fragile flame,
So warm and tender that others are drawn to its light.
But the closer a person becomes,
The greater the fear that they will be burned and hurt,
Engulfed and overpowered by the flame.
A heart is like a song,
So easily changed and warped,
Its precious words sometimes lost to the howling wind.
It can be enhanced and strengthened by others,
But can also fade away into the night, unheard.
A heart can be seen as a half,
Incomplete and frail,
beating for a fleating moment in hope.
A heart can be seen as stone,
Inpenetrable and cold,
Isolated from the world without.
